Tom Wright's Cat and Mouse Quartet
Tom Wright is a saxophonist, composer, math professor, and avid traveler who lives in Spartanburg, SC. He is currently the director of the Spartanburg Jazz Ensemble, the composer-in-residence for the Greenville Jazz Collective, and a freelance musician in the Carolinas. Tom is an accomplished performer who has played saxophone on all seven continents and has shared the stage with everyone from Wynton Marsalis to Regis Philbin to Miss America.
Outside of music, Tom is a math professor at Wofford College, having received his Ph.D. in mathematics from Johns Hopkins University in 2009. He's also the author of Trolling Euclid: An Irreverent Guide to Nine of Mathematics‘ Most Important Problems.
