4. Dallas (Doug Moreland) That's one of the first songs I wrote -- '98, '99, somewhere in there. There was a girl in New Mexico I'd been in love with for years. She was there and I was in Tennessee. I moved back to Texas, and she moved to Tennessee. I said, "Well, dang," and then I went back to Tennessee -- and found out she'd moved to Dallas. I never caught up with her, which is probably a good thing. This is the first release from the album Doug Moreland. The new record launched on October 17, 2006.
