Lowell Stark Biog
I was born in route to Bakersfield, Ca. on the Kern highway in an ambulance .I was raised in rural ranching communities throughout California. My father was a timber faller in the logging industry throughout the northwest while my mom raised seven kids at home. I have three brothers and five sisters. I have a brother and sister who were raised in Nashville, Tn.. The music of the early seventies was a strong influence with ones like Neil Young, Jackson Browne, the Beatles, the Eagles etc.. . The first song I ever played on a guitar was " Heart of Gold". Most of my music is influenced by the community and the hardworking people who lived there. While I was more influenced by my older bros. and sisters with rock, my father left his mark playing "KRAK" radio out of Sacramento with its country western genre, playing music like Hank Williams Sr., Bob Wills , Bill Monroe etc.. Everything changed for me when I discovered Willie Nelson wrote "Crazy" which I knew as sung by Patsy Cline. So at an early age I was affected by the singer songwriter idea.I started writing about 4 years ago and now have 24 songs ready to be recorded. I am getting requests for my songs by other up and coming artists. The songs on radio submit are typical of my music. Please leave a message and say Hi. You can also be a fan. Not that I want fans but I would like to know what people think of my songs.   Enjoy.
