Singing Country With A Twist Of....Rock, Pop & Blues 1992 Talent America Contest - receiving two awards... one was for Most Stage Presence and the other Best Personality. 1993 formed a Trio with her son Jimmy and her mother Laura and they called themselves Vicki Lee Company. 1998 she had surgery on her vocal cords and had noggles removed. She took a year to recover. 1999 she met another performer by the name of Stevie Cee, they formed a Duet Act and called themselves Pop 'N' Country. The duet parted ways fall 2004. 2000 Vicki and her mother Laura Smith started Lydialee Publishing. 2000 - New Country Female Entertainer of The Year - 3rd Place Winner: New Country Female Vocalist - 2nd Place Winner: New Gospel Female Vocalist - 2nd Place Winners: Vocal Duet New Country Vicki Lee and Stevie Cee for "Lets Walk Away" from DECMA. 2001 released "Touch Of Life". The very first song on the album "Let Me Not Weep" is dedicated to Vicki's father Charles E. Smith who passed away Feb. of 1995 of Lung Cancer. March 2001 at Pigeon Forge, Tennessee. Mother and daughter received Songwriter of the Year Award at NACMAI for the song "Let Me Not Weep." October 2001 released the patriotic single "Don't Let Us Fall" and then released the patriotic single "Angels On Golden Wings" both songs written for Sept 11th, 2001. March 2002 Don't Let Us Fall was named Patriotic Song Of The Year from NACMAI. "Angels On Golden Wings." this song received "Patriotic Song Of The Year 2002" from DECMA & NACMAI. Interviewed and featured on Branson World Radio. 2003 both Patriotic songs released on America & Friends Salute The Spirit Of America compilation CD along with 12 other artists from all over the United States. June 2004 Vicki released her second album called "Crossin' On Over. It's feisty, fresh, moving all wrapped in one lovely cd! Interviewed By CSO European Contributing Journalist, Christian Lamitschka. March 2005 Vicki Lee featured on Musicians of Maine TV Show April 2005 Vicki Lee released her newest single called "A Letter Home (from Afghanistan)" which is also on a patriotic compilation called America Friends Salute The Spirit Of America II; this compilation is raising monies for our vets. Vicki Lee has performed in various Fairs, Summer Fests, private gatherings, weddings, campgrounds, retirement homes. She's hosted & participated for various benefits interviewed on various Maine radio stations. Her songs are being played at various radio stations throughout the United States and overseas.
