Late For Breakfast - New Album 'The Art Of Falling'



Coming together in 2006 to record their debut EP Late For Breakfast is a 4 piece band based in Melbourne Australia.


It's members are individually very well known on the Australian music scene having played with numerous artists and on some famously successful albums.

Their sound is eclectic yet with an overiding pop sensibility. Powerful melodies set against a subtle nu-jazz backdrop, punchy rhythms,rock overtones and an unexpected intimacy feature throughout the EP.

Greg Clarkson - Saxophones 

Greg is one of Melbourne's most in-demand musicians having worked on I.M.T., Good Morning Australia, Hey Hey It's Saturday, The Midday Show; and with numerous big- bands including the Moovin' & Groovin' and Radio Rhythm Orchestras.



Michael Oliphant - Keyboards - Vocals

Michael is known for a series of innovative original bands in Melbourne such as 'The Office', 'The Mike Oliphant Band' and for work with such artists as Tina Arena, Colleen Hewitt, The Seekers, Tina Turner and many more. A regular performer on Good Morning Australia he also co-hosts a hugely successful podcast called 'The Explore Your Voice Show'. Spends his time mostly songwriting and producing.



Roger McLachlan - Bass

A leading world clinician for Warwick basses , Roger is most well known for being the bass player with "The Little River Band' playing on the first two albums. One of the most in demand bass players in Australia Roger has recorded many albums . his opening fretless bass lick can be heard on one of the most famous Australia tracks of all time , John Farnham's 'You're The Voice'

Co-Hosts 'The Explore Your Voice Show' and is an accomplished songwriter and producer.



Gerry Pantazis - Drums

One of Australia's 'A List" drummers You would have heard Gerry on numerous TV events such as Hey Hey its Saturday, In Melbourne Tonight, G.M.A, Goodwill Games 2001Opening Ceremony, AFL Grand Final 03,04 and 05, Carols by Candlelight 04 and 05, The Big Night In with John Forman and recently Dancing with the Stars. Touring is also a big part of Gerrys career which has seen him travel around Australia and the world doing various projects. Such as clinic demos for the Roland Corporation ( traveling to Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia, Vietnam and the Philippines), Drum clinics for Yamaha, The Seekers Farewell tour of NZ and the UK 95, Tommy Emmanuel tours 96 and 97, Bachelor Girl tour of 98, and Mamma Mia in Hong Kong in 2004. 

With Roger he forms the Aussie version of Geoff Achison and the Souldiggers when they are not seen round town with Late For Breakfast.
